Advancing Equity in DataViz

In June 2025, I was invited to speak at the 2025 Equity First Summer Associates Program at the University of Chicago's Chapin Hall. The talk focused on how to approach data visualization with a stronger emphasis on equity. I shared four principles with attendees that they can use to create more equitable data visualizations:
