Advancing Equity in DataViz

In June 2025, Ama was invited to speak at the 2025 Equity First Summer Associates Program at the University of Chicago's Chapin Hall. The talk focused on how to approach data visualization with a stronger emphasis on equity. She shared four principles with attendees that they can use to create more equitable data visualizations:
