In 2019, I was invited to participate in a panel titled Data for Social Impact: Challenges & Opportunities for the University of Pennsylvania's Nonprofit Leadership program. Panelists discussed their prior experience using data to drive real-world impact, the most exciting opportunities for nonprofits to use new technologies and data in their work, the most significant challenges nonprofits struggle with around adapting to changing technologies in the digital age and the world of Big Data, and the most critical skills needed by nonprofit sector professionals to best prepare for working in this new world of Big Data and rapidly changing technologies.
