Visualizing Course Descriptions

In 2021, Ama explored techniques for cleaning, analyzing, and visualizing text data using R. As part of this project, she created word clouds that highlight the most frequently used terms in course descriptions across three programs within the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Social Policy and Practice (i.e., Social Work, Social Policy, and Nonprofit Leadership). The data were originally scraped in June 2021 from the University of Pennsylvania's 2020-21 University Course Catalog. You can download the project from her GitHub repository.
