Audience-Centered Design: Designing Data Visualizations with Your Audience in Mind

In July 2024, Ama was invited to speak at The Council of the Great City Schools' 21st Annual Curriculum, Research, and Instructional Leaders Meeting. The conference focuses on how urban district leaders can leverage high-quality curriculum, research, and instruction to address and dismantle inequities in education. Ama’s talk, titled Audience-Centered Design: Designing Data Visualizations with Your Audience in Mind, emphasized the importance of creating visual content that is tailored to the specific needs, preferences, and contexts of its intended audience.
